World Energy Forum 2012: Dubal to be a lead sponsor

Europe: Aluminium beverage can recycling rate for 2010 hits 66.7%
The recycling rate of aluminium beverage cans in Europe and including European Free Trade Agreement (EFTA) nations reached 66.7% in 2010, an increase of 2.4% over the previous year, according to figures produced by the European Aluminium Association (EAA).

Russia: Kumensk-Uralsky Metallurgical Works buys cutting lines from Heinrich Georg GmbH
Russian aluminium producer Kamensk-Uralsky Metallurgical Works (KUMZ) has awarded Heinrich Georg GmbH the contract to supply two cut-to-length lines and one slitting line to help process aluminium coils with a strip width of up to 2,800mm in width.

Novelis: The world's biggest drinks can recycler sets up dedicated procurement business
Novelis, a global leader in rolled aluminium products and the world's largest recycler of aluminium cans, is to establish a procurement organisation specifically for used beverage cans (UBCs) following a recent announcement that it was withdrawing from its Evermore Recycling joint venture with Alcoa.
