KUMZ claims it is making the investment due to increased export demand for its products from the aviation and transport industries.
Georg has already started production of the equipment and will also supply the necessary electrical controls and automation technology. All the components will be made in Germany.
The two cut-to-length lines and the one slitting line are designed to produce coils with a total weight of up to 25 tons.
The cut-to-length lines can cut through aluminium from 0.20mm to 3.00mm thick and from 3.00mm to 10mm.
The system is equipped with hydraulic expandable double decoilers, rotating cut-to-length shears and edge-trimming shears with automatic cutting and strip width adjustment.
KUMZ plans to start using the equipment at the beginning of 2014.
