The joint venture deal with Novelis comes to a close at the end of August and Alcoa is champing at the bit to get started on what it regards as a new chapter 'to deepen our rich heritage in recycling', according to Andrey Donets, president of Alcoa Global Packaging, the company that will now absorb the business.

"Alcoa's Evermore Recycling is known throughout the world for its strong and committed relationships across the recycling supply chain and for its ability of making it easy to work together effectivively," said Donets.

While Evermore Recycling will soon be a part of Alcoa's Global Packaging Group, it will remain based in Nashville, Tennessee, USA.
