Automotive: Aleris signs contract with FAW-Volkswagen in China
Aleris has signed a contract with FAW-Volkswagen to provide aluminium for the Audi A3 Sportback and Sedan, which will be produced in Guangdong Province in China, and the Audi Q5, to be produced in Changchun in China's Jilin Province.

The Gulf: Vegetation not damaged by EMAL smelter
An environmental study conducted by a renowned international expert from Newcastle University in the United Kingdom, has concluded that smelting operations conducted by Emirates Aluminium (EMAL) is not causing damage to local vegetation.
