ALFED annual dinner a success
A new venue was a hit for Aluminium Industry annual dinner, with 200 members and guests of the Aluminium Federation joining together to celebrate the achievements of the UK Aluminium industry.

Success for AluSolutions 2013
More than 800 visitors from across the aluminium industry attended the CIAC event last week featuring AluSolutions, INALCO, REGAL Students'day (JER) 2013, AAC cocktail party and the exhibition. All were well received and the events can boast a combined attendance of more than 800 participants from across the aluminium industry worldwide.

Aluminum can recycling rate hits 67%
Industry recycling of aluminum beverage containers in the United States continued its decade-long upward trend in 2012 with a rate of 67%, according to data released by the Aluminum Association, Can Manufacturers Institute (CMI) and Institute of Scrap Recycling Industries (ISRI).
