While the AluSolutions exhibition provided a platform to discuss solutions to common problems and explore the latest developments and solutions for aluminium production and processing, the AluSolutions conference ran a full two-day programme, with sessions dedicated to sustainability in the aluminium industry.

Visitors were able to meet with more than 70 exhibiting companies, which included the likes of Alcoa, Rio Tinto Alcan, Wagstaff, Aluminerie Alouette, and Fives Solios.

It was standing room only for the AluSolutions conference, which was organised by Aluminium International Today magazine, with a programme designed to explore sustainable production techniques and practices for the aluminium industry.

Speakers from companies including Emirates Aluminium (EMAL), FATA Hunter, SNC Lavalin and Alcoa Inc discussed their own experiences of putting green technologies into action in smelters across the world, along with the processes designed to benefit smelters looking to reduce their carbon footprint.

All speaker presentations will be made available for download on the AluSolutions website in the coming weeks.
