EGA to significantly increase supply of UAE-made metal for use in German car group’s engines
Emirates Global Aluminium has announced that it is to significantly increase its supply of UAE-made aluminium to BMW. EGA has supplied metal to BMW since 2013 for use in the German car group’s engines.

Hydro has decided to close the fabrication business unit in Drunen, Netherlands, due to challenging market conditions.
The closure is due to the challenging European market, particularly in trailer construction, which represents a large part of the production in Drunen. Despite several measures taken recent years to improve the situation, it has not been possible to turn the negative development.
