Thyssen Krupp Aerospace renews and expands Bombardier contract
ThyssenKrupp Aerospace has renewed and expanded a six-year contract with Bombardier Aerospace as the service provider for cut-to-size aluminum plate, sheet and extrusions and related supply chain services. The work will take place at ThyssenKrupp Aerospace's in Baie D’Urfé facility in Québec, Canada.

Canada: Orbite Announces Offtake Agreement with Glencore
Montreal-based Orbite Aluminae has signed a 10-year agreement with Glencore International AG, a Glencore Xstrata subsidiary, to supply 100% of the smelter grade alumina produced by Orbite's proposed SGA plant in Quebec, Canada. The supply of alumina from the plant will commence as soon as commercial production begins.

USA: Alcoa and Boeing in aerospace recycling venture
In an effort to increase the recycling of its internal aluminium aerospace alloys – used to produce Boeing aircraft – Alcoa, the American aluminium behemoth, has teamed up with the aviation giant and developed a ‘closed loop’ recycling programme.
