The Novelis-owned plant employees 120 employees and melts down recycled cans to produce sheet ingots for use in the production of new aluminium beverage cans.
The award was presented at the plant by Michael Dixon, Kentucky Labor Cabinet's Department of Workplace Standards Commissioner.
