Registration now open for 6th International Conference on Electrodes for Primary Aluminium Smelters

As before, the conference topic will include both anodes and cathodes. Emphasis will be on environmental issues, increasing productivity and future prospects in the aluminium industry.

The organisers plan to give delegates opportunity to visit the primary aluminium smelters Nordural at Grundartangi and Rio Tinto Alcan at Straumsvik (ISAL) during the conference days.

If there is sufficient interest, a trip will be organised the day after the conference (16th May) to the Alcoa Fjarðaál smelter in Reyðarfjörður, east-Iceland.
