Turkish aluminium tube and aerosol cans packaging company, Perfektüp, is celebrating its 70th anniversary.

Originally established in Istanbul in 1955, the company intended to meet the growing demand for aluminium slugs and tubes in a rapidly modernising Turkey.

Perfektüp delivers packaging solutions to multiple industries including cosmetics, pharmaceuticals, food, home care, stationery and chemicals.

The company exports to nearly 50 countries, with seven facilities across Italy, Bulgaria and Turkey.

Last year, Perfektüp completed the first phase of its new Kirklareli Production Campus in Turkey by launching its aerosol can factory, including two new aerosol lines.

This sustainability-focused facility, spanning 75,000m² and capable of generating its own energy, is a cornerstone of the company’s transformation towards greater efficiency.

Designed to generate minimal carbon emissions, the facility represents a major milestone in Perfektüp’s sustainability journey.

Additionally, through its patented “Saving Water” project, Perfektüp reduces water consumption in production processes. The project was coupled with the creation of the Perfektüp Memorial Forest, home to over 10,000 newly planted trees.

Throughout its 70 years of production, the company has produced 240 million aerosol cans and 650 million aluminium tubes.
