NALCO signs long-term power MoU

The MoU aims to support NALCO’s captive and long-term power requirements, with a focus on sustainable energy solutions.

National Aluminium Company Limited (NALCO) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with NLC India Ltd. (NLCIL).

This strengthens the collaboration for the 1080 MW thermal captive power project and renewable energy development.

The MoU was signed in the presence of Shri Jagdish Arora, Director (Projects & Technical) of NALCO and Shri Prasanna Kumar Motupalli, CMD, NLCIL, and the Directors of NLCIL at Mahabalipuram, Tamil Nadu, India.

The MoU aims to support NALCO’s captive and long-term power requirements, with a focus on sustainable energy solutions.

It will provide a structured framework to explore long-term power tie-ups and coal supply arrangements.

The partnership will envisage joint project development in the future.
