Expansion will increase Nalco’s bauxite production from its present 48kt/y to 63kt/y and raise its alumina output from 15kt/y to 21kt/y.
Aluminium production will also go up from the current level of 345kt/y to 560kt/y while the company’s captive power generation is set to increase from 960MW to 1200MW.
