More than 700 companies from 37 world countries participated in the leading event this year, from which attendance was dominated by the host country with 416 domestic companies practically from all regions of Russia, somewhat surprisingly followed by China (77 companies), and next traditionally 68 companies from Germany and 46 companies from Italy.

For four working days approximately 30 - 32 thousand end-users of ferrous and non-ferrous products from various industries including construction, power and engineering complex, transportation and logistics, machine-building, as well as students and research workers, visited the event. The second day holds the record of the most visitors, with about 15,000 participants present.

Business events
The Metal-Expo programme of events included more than 30 conferences, seminars and round tables, mainly held in producers-dealer and producer-user format.

Hundreds of companies attended the many conferences during the Metal Week in Moscow, which included: Russian Metal and Steel Market, Metal Construction: Dynamics of Development, Steel Industry and Cargo Transportation, New Promising Materials, Equipment and Technologies, Zinc: Corrosion Protection, Modern Technologies for Non-Ferrous Metals Production and Processing, and IT for Steel Industry, as well as many more.

The Russian Union of Metal and Steel Suppliers also held the Meeting of Aluminium Products Manufacturers, Suppliers and Users with participation from about 50 representatives of the Russian producers, including Rusal, Aluminium products, KUMZ, Alunext, Realit, etc.
