LME Clear has announced the appointment of David Warren as Chairman of the Board, effective 20 July 2023. David will succeed Marco Strimer, who will step down as Chairman having reached the end of his term.
David has over 30 years’ experience in financial services and considerable expertise in global financial markets infrastructure and regulation, having served as Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and Interim Chief Executive of the London Stock Exchange Group, as CFO and Senior Advisor at NASDAQ and as a Non-Executive Director of LCH Group Holdings Ltd.
Outgoing Chair of the LME Clear Board, Marco Strimer, will stay on as a director until the end of the year to support David’s transition into the role.
Commenting on his appointment, David Warren said: “I’m delighted to be joining LME Clear as Chairman of the Board.
