Developed through real foundry experience, Dolphin is a robust, compact system specifically aimed at the smaller melter. Although only just over 7m in length, Dolphin is able to produce de oxidant cubes or long bar ingot at rates of between 3 and 6t/hour.
Dolphin is the latest addition to a range of straight line casting machines able to produce ingots of any size or shape at production rates up to 10t/hour. For even greater efficiency, machines can also be fitted with the new automatic JMC Gantec ingot stacking system.
As well as providing straight line casting equipment, JMC manufactures a unique circular machine able to produce grade 1 aluminium granules, without tails, for the steel industry.
