DTE has appointed Dr. Sohail Nazari, as its new Chief Commercial Officer (CCO).
Dr. Nazari’s appointment at the Icelandic metal analysers marks a new phase of growth for DTE as the company scales to meet increasing demand for Liquid-Phase Laser-Induced Breakdown Spectroscopy technology.
Dr. Nazari said: “DTE’s real-time analysis technology is a breakthrough innovation that provides aluminium producers with immediate insight into melt chemistry previously beyond reach.
“This capability enables manufacturers to unlock new levels of efficiency, make faster and smarter decisions that increase throughput, enhance consistency, and maximise scrap utilisation.

Dr. Nazari joins DTE from ANDRITZ where he served as Global Vice President and brings a total of 15 years of experience from across the digitalisation and automation sectors.
He also holds a PhD in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of Alberta.
