With CrystAl, Aluminium Dunkerque is strengthening its position in high-purity aluminium and confirming its ambition in a strategic, high value-added segment.
Initial production has confirmed the site’s ability to reach the 4N level, with a target range extending up to 4N6.
CrystAl is aimed at demanding markets such as metal powders and pastes, advanced electronic materials, semiconductors and capacitor-related applications.
Developed in both sows and ingots, this new industrial offering is currently designed to produce around 200 tonnes per year, with a planned scale-up to 3,000 tonnes by 2028–2029.
