Constellium will supply Airbus with aluminium alloy extrusions after it secured a multi-year agreement with the aviation manufacturer.
Constellium will supply Airbus with extrusions manufactured using aluminium alloys, and its aluminium-lithium solution, Airware.
The scope includes bars, range of small and large extrusions, engineered to meet quality requirements and optimised strength-to-weight performance, supporting aircraft structural applications.
Constellium will supply Airbus from its facilities in Issoire and Montreuil-Juigné, France.
Philippe Hoffmann, President of Constellium’s Aerospace and Transportation business unit, said: the agreement reflects Airbus’ trust in its products and solutions.
