A total of €13M will be invested in Neuf-Brisach to modernise the pre-heating process. The plant is a major supplier of rolled aluminium products to the beverage and food packaging, as well as the automotive markets.

The investment plan includes the installation of a new pusher furnace for the can packaging market. It will also spend €4M on the revamp of two pusher furnaces at its Singen rolling mill.

A total of €11M will be spent on the installation of a press line in Singen, focusing mainly on extruded profiles for the automotive Crash Management Systems (CMS) business.

The modernisation plan for Constellium’s Extrusion activities also calls for maximum energy efficiency and highly efficient fabrication capabilities to suit customer requirements. The investment will ensure improved capability and productivity to support Constellium's internal supply chain for the Automotive Structures plant in Gottmadingen, Germany.
