Constellium has formed an aluminium alloys strategic partnership with industrial 3D printing solutions supplier, EOS.

The partnership will accelerate the development and industrial adoption of aluminium alloys for additive manufacturing.

Together, the partners will provide customers with access to validated materials, application expertise, and a faster path to commercialisation.

As the additive manufacturing market expands, the partners are will support manufacturers seeking to scale production, improve material performance, and unlock new business opportunities across industrial applications.

Ludovic Piquier, Senior Vice President, Manufacturing Excellence and Chief Technical Officer at Constellium, said: "This collaboration with EOS helps accelerate the practical application of additive manufacturing across industries.

"By expanding access to aluminium additive manufacturing solutions, we are helping customers reduce qualification times, improve production efficiency, and develop new lightweight, high-performance applications."

As part of the collaboration, EOS will add Aheadd CP1 to its materials portfolio as EOS Aluminium Constellium CP1, while Constellium will work with EOS to accelerate industrialisation of the Al5X1 alloy.

CP1 will be available through EOS in August 2026.
