As part of its commitment to help shape the future of the global aluminium sector, Kuwait Industries Co. Holding will host the 22nd Arab International Aluminium Conference (ARABAL) at the Jumeirah Messilah Beach Hotel and Spa in Kuwait from the 11 – 13 November 2018.
ARABAL is returning to Kuwait for the 4th time and will be celebrating 35 years of successfully serving the aluminium industry.
More than 1,500 local, regional and international delegates, sponsors, exhibitors and visitors are expected to attend the Middle East’s premium aluminium industry gathering. Combining a strategic conference and an international exhibition, ARABAL is the only event of its kind to unite all leading primary aluminium manufacturers in the GCC, enabling industry leaders to network, conduct business, discuss global challenges and identify suitable solutions.
Under the theme ‘Honouring the past; embracing the future’ the two day ARABAL conference will focus on a number of important topics including aluminium industry dynamics, driving forces, market outlook, upstream, downstream, technology and innovation, environment and sustainability, production and operations and the investor experience.
ARABAL is the perfect platform to showcase the Middle East’s position as a regional industry powerhouse. The ever popular smelters CEO panel will provide an overview of the industry in the Middle East, particularly changes of interest and how recent developments are impacting the smelters. It will also give an opportunity to discuss the smelters’ view of the future and where they are taking their companies respectively.
Driving forces will then highlight regional developments in EU, Russia, USA and China, with the associated opportunities and challenges and their impact on the global aluminium market.
ARABAL 2018 will highlight the success of the last three decades and will seek to find sustainable innovations for a greener aluminium industry in the future.
