Novelis has successfully been certified against the ASI Performance Attendees Certification for the recycling, remelting and manufacturing of aluminium coil and sheet at their Korea limited plant situated in Yeongju.

The Novelis plant produces flat-rolled aluminium, which is used to produce products such as the beverage can, food packaging, construction and electronics across the Asian market. The ASI announced hat the plant had successfully been assessed against the program for responsible production, sourcing and stewardship of aluminium at the Novelis Korea Limited plant in Yeongju, Korea.
Ms Solomon goes onto note,
“The facility’s capacity to process recycled aluminium feedstock and make used beverage cans into new beverage cans is a great example of the circularity of aluminium.”
