It is focussing on ideas for the efficient and progressive use of aluminium. Six prizes will be awarded in two categories. The ‘Industrial Products’ category deals with applications in Automotive & Transport, Building & Construction, Mechanical Engineering & Electronics and Production Techniques.
The search is for aluminium components that make a positive contribution to the finished product. In the “Consumer Products” category, the jury will award prizes to finished products for Design and Innovation.
The award is held every to years and is open to engineers, design engineers, developers, designers and their clients. The deadline to enter the competition is 1 July 2010. For more information visit www.aluminium-award.eu
