Anthony Evans has been appointed as the new CEO of Alucast, effective from 1 December 2025.
He brings a depth of expertise and leadership from the heart of the foundry industry and is a well-known figure within the casting community.
A graduate engineer, Mr Evans spent many years at Alumasc PLC, serving in key foundry management roles across the UK, including at Burton Latimer & Copal Castings, and internationally in China.
He later held significant business development positions at JH Lavenders and Sarginsons before becoming Managing Director & Chairman at Sarginsons Ltd.
Beyond his direct leadership roles, Mr Evans has successfully run his own foundry consultancy, and he maintains very strong industry connections, having served as the past President of the Institute of Cast Metals Engineers (ICME).
With this appointment, the company are strategically positioned to accelerate growth, particularly in advanced aluminium casting for the high-tech sectors.
