Alro’s aim is to decrease the fuel gas consumption of its system, supplied by Setaram, and to prevent tar formation and deposits inside the Exhaust Ramp and Ring Main.
Solios Carbone will take the opportunity to set up its latest technological achievements such as Port Sealing Ramps (PSR) and CO analysers.
The PSR is an ergonomic and tight solution to eliminate the incursion of cold air into the fumes exhaust line.
The contract also includes the upgrade of a level 2 control system as well as the supervision of equipment construction and commissioning.
This is the first industrial implementation of the Port Sealing Ramp technology, which represents an opportunity for Solios Carbone to confirm the capabilities of this new system, developed and tested at the Mozal smelter to enhance the sealing function.
