Terrence J Hogan, senior vice president and general manager of recycling and specification alloys (Americas); and Russell Barr, vice president and general manager of recycling (Europe) have replaced Dick. Both men report directly to Aleris’ chairman and chief executive, Steve Demetriou.
According to Demetriou, the new regional leadership structure is ‘more effective for this business segment.”
Demetriou said that Aleris Recycling is a strategically important part of the business, adding that he was confident that Hogan and Barr’s appointments will enhance the company’s ability to meet customer needs.
Aleris claims to be the largest merchant aluminum recycler and supplier of specification alloys in the United States and Europe.
