Taweelah Aluminium Extrusion Company will invest $200M in setting up an aluminium extrusion plant, at the Khalifa Industrial Zone Abu Dhabi (Kizad).
Kizad, with its 417km2 of industrial land and facilities, is located between Abu Dhabi and Dubai. This 50kt/y facility will be built on a 235000m2 plot of land next to the Emal smelter. The feedstock of liquid aluminum and aluminium billets will be supplied by Emal.
Taweelah will produce aluminium extruded profiles, fabricated profiles as well as substructures and systems. It will cater to the industrial, automotive and transportation sectors as well as to the top end building and construction projects, meeting the most stringent standards of local, regional and international customers.
