
Scepter has announced a multi-year metal supply agreement with Novelis. Scepter will supply Novelis more than 200,000 tons of aluminium ingot featuring up to 95% recycled content. Novelis will roll and finish the ingot for its customers.
Scepter produces a wide range of recycled products at facilities in the United States, Canada, and Europe which is provided to its costumers who manufacture aluminium beverage cans and food containers in the U.S. Since 1991, Scepter has produced rolling ingot from recycled scrap at its Waverly, Tennessee plant.

This agreement claims it will result in an estimated carbon reduction of 1.2 million tons compared to the use of prime-based sheet ingot, supporting both companies’ sustainability objectives.
