Succession planning is an integral part of InfoSight’s strategic plan. With that in mind, InfoSight is excited to make several organizational announcements.

On January 1, 2023, Dave Hudelson, President and COO, will move into the newly created position of Executive Chairman. In this capacity, he will continue in a leadership role as Chairman of the Board of Directors. He will focus on external relationships, technological development, and mentorship for the incoming President and CEO, as InfoSight accelerates its growth ambitions. This decision comes after much thoughtful consideration by Hudelson and InfoSight’s Board of Directors to prepare for his eventual retirement. In his new role, Dave will oversee a smooth transition while maintaining continuity and momentum for the operation.

At the same time, Rob Underhill, CFO and VP of Business Development, will become InfoSight’s President & CEO. The role of CEO had previously been filled by founder, inventor, and entrepreneur Dr. John Robertson. Underhill will assume responsibilities for long term strategy and overall leadership of the Company, including the direction of day-to-day operations at InfoSight. For the remainder of 2022 Hudelson and Underhill will work as a team to prepare for this transition. With Underhill at the helm, InfoSight will remain committed to providing our customers with the unique and rugged solutions and outstanding customer service they have come to expect from InfoSight.

Additionally, sustainable innovation is equally important to InfoSight’s strategic plan. InfoSight is pleased to announce the hiring of Aaron Thaler as Research and Product Development Director. Thaler comes to InfoSight from Owens-Corning, where he was most recently the R&D Program Leader. He holds a bachelor’s and master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from The Ohio State University. His technical knowledge and product development experience will enable InfoSight to continue to serve our customers in an ever-changing marketplace.

InfoSight provides identification and traceability solutions for high value products and assets in harsh industrial and other extreme environments. For more information about InfoSight or this announcement, contact Jennifer Mikus at 740-642-3600 or find us on the internet at infosight.com.
