The CO2 footprint of SustainAl 2.0 is approx. 2 tons and for SustainAl 4.0 approx. 4 tons per ton of aluminium. With SustainAl, the HAI Group offers the transportation, construction and industrial sectors a strong lever for reducingCO2 emissions while maintaining the same material quality.
"Our mission is to support our customers in credibly reducing their carbon footprint. That's why it was important to us to show at the trade fair the ways in which we are implementing our sustainability strategy and how we can find solutions together. With our SustainAl 2.0 and SustainAl 4.0 alloy variants, we have the opportunity to make a significant contribution in a simple and transparent way,” says CEO Rob van Gils, underlining the HAI Group's expertise.
"ALUMINIUM is the world's leading trade fair for one of the most exciting materials of our time. Even though the tense economic situation in Europe continues to hit the entire industry hard, I am convinced that we were able to strengthen our community and drive forward the future of the aluminum industry through the personal exchange at the trade fair and the discussion of current industry topics,” sums up Rob van Gils.
