The line sold to Shandong Weiqiao will process aluminium strip from 0.15mm to 0.80mm in thickness and 980mm to 1,880mm in width. With an operating speed of 300m/min, it will be the fastest CCL in China and one of the fastest worldwide.
It will feature in-line side trimming and tension levelling, dry-in-place chemical treatment, a dual lacquer coater for quick coating change, an indirectly heated Flotation Oven followed by a flotation air cooler and a waxer.
The equipment will be installed at the new Flat Products facility Shandong Weiqiao is building in Zouping County, Shandong Province and is scheduled to enter production in Q1 2013.
It is the 11th contract for the supply of CCLs in China Fata Hunter has secured since 2000.
