It will supply its hSystem automation system for automatic thickness and flatness control to Shandong Deli Group. It will be installed on the second cold rolling mill. The first system was installed on the first cold mill in 2009.
The h-system will be installed on a 1900mm non-reversible cold mill, 1200 m/min maximum speed, strip width of 800 – 1710mm and minimum exit strip thickness of 0.1mm.
The system will be complete with AGC and AFC control, roll eccentricity compensation, Level 2 system (for automatic pass schedule calculation, primary mill data management and process data acquisition and recording), flatness measurement system, and coolant spray bars.
Fata Hunter was also awarded a contract to supply two ‘h-system’ process controls systems for thickness and flatness automatic control to Shandong Zouping Great Wall Energy Technology Co.
The first system will be installed on a non-reversing cold rolling mill and the second system installed on a foil rolling mill.
Each system will be complete with Automatic Gauge Control and Automatic Flatness Control, integrated Level 2 control, a flatness measurement system and coolant spray bars. Roll Eccentricity Compensation is included on both systems.
The contract award brings the total of FATA Hunter h-systems supplied this year alone to 12 with total systems supplied worldwide to nearly 50.
