Steve Schneider was senior vice president, controller and chief accounting officer for Century.
He joined the company in April 2001 and had been vice president and corporate controller.
He was named chief accounting officer in 2006. Century Spokesman Mike Dildine said Schneider "left the company to pursue other opportunities.
" Before he joined Century, Schneider worked in a number of management positions with Alcoa, Inc., according to Century's website which also states Schneider is a Certified Public Accountant who has a MAABS degree from Bastyr University and a BA degree from Marietta College.
