Congresswoman Carol Miller along with Representatives Glenn Grothman, Haley Stevens, and Morgan McGarvey re-launched the bipartisan Congressional Aluminum Caucus.

The caucus serves to raise awareness and discuss the importance of the U.S. aluminium industry, the production and use of the metal, and key issues within the industry.

“I am glad to serve alongside my colleagues as one of the co-chairs of the bipartisan Congressional Aluminum Caucus. Aluminium is a critical metal that is used to produce a variety of important items from kitchenware, furniture, to aircraft. The U.S. aluminium industry provides jobs for hundreds of thousands of hard-working Americans, and over 1,100 of those jobs are held by West Virginians. As a result, billions of dollars have been added to our nation’s economy. Together we will find ways to embolden the industry and strengthen U.S. manufacturing,” said Congresswoman Miller.

"I am incredibly proud to serve as a co-chair of the Aluminum Caucus, advocating for the 700,000 workers in the U.S. aluminium industry, including 2,817 in Wisconsin’s Sixth District. The industry is a cornerstone of the American economy. To ensure its continued growth and global competitiveness, we need to prepare the next generation of students for the good-paying skilled jobs like the ones found in the aluminium industry. This includes workers trained in both traditional manufacturing processes and advanced, cutting-edge technologies. I am excited to get to work," said Congressman Grothman.
