Aluminium Stewardship Initiative (ASI) has announced that Amcor’s facilities in Teningen Tscheulin-Rothal (Germany), Sarrebourg and De Froges (France) have been successfully certified against ASI’s Performance Standard for responsible production, sourcing and stewardship of aluminium with a focus on material stewardship.
The production at these sites comprises a broad range of flexible packaging products, including liddings and foils, as well as processes, such as lacquering and printing, embossing and die-cutting. The materials are used in both food and non-food applications.
In addition, Amcor’s Rorschach site in Switzerland has achieved full ASI Performance Standard Certification, which covers semi-fabrication, material conversion and lacquering.
