Mr Drummond, 50, will lead Alcoa’s Latin America region, supporting the company’s transformation strategy through which Alcoa is growing its value-added businesses and creating a globally competitive commodity business.
Mr Drummond currently serves on Alcoa’s Brazil Advisory Board and previously held global leadership roles at Whirlpool Corporation for 14 years. He will be based in São Paulo, Brazil.
