The OARC official inauguration took place at the Company’s headquarters in Sohar Industrial Estate and was attended by many government officials and private sector representatives.
Owned by Takamul Investment Company with a total cost of $385 million, the OARC plant supplies alloys of processed aluminium to the local markets and exports to the Middle East, Asia, Europe, Australia, North and South America.
The project provides around 300 direct job opportunities for local residents, and recorded current Omanisation percentage of 73%, with 100% Omanisation on the plant operations level.
