Andreas Hake

Andreas Hake, born in 1964, began his career at Berzelius Umwelt Service AG, the green subsidiary of former Metallgesellschaft AG in Frankfurt, after studying mechanical process engineering in Germany and the UK.

His first activities included the planning and construction of plants for the recycling of aluminium salt slag in Germany and Europe. After further positions with well-known international plant manufacturers in Germany, he became self-employed and in 2008 acquired shares in Oberländer Recycling Maschinen GmbH, based in the Ruhr area in Germany. Today, after more than 30 years’ experience in the recycling of industrial residues, he is the managing majority shareholder of the company Oberländer, offering recycling solutions for the metal industry world-wide.
