The aim of this course is to provide delegates with a good basic knowledge of aluminium metallurgy. Although this course is pitched at an introductory level, delegates will find that the topics are explored in some depth. For example, we spend 2.5 hours discussing thermal treatments.
Delegates will learn about aluminium microstructure, deformation and annealing mechanisms and thermal treatment. As well as metallurgy, we’ll also cover surface control and experimental techniques for problem solving. In all, delegates will receive 10.5 hours of training in aluminium metallurgy from industry experts.
