ALUEXPO – 8th International Aluminium Technologies, Machinery and Products Trade Fair, organized by Hannover Messe Ankiros Fuarcilik A.S. and ALUS’11 – 11th International Aluminium Symposium, open their doors between 12-14 October 2023 at Istanbul Expo Center in halls 1, 2 and 3.

The gap of being together and having face-to-face conversations during this time period that is lived under the shadow of the pandemic, leading to significant demand for sectoral trade fairs. The exceptionally successful performance of our aluminum industry, the incomparable acceleration of investments, and the increase in exports by constantly breaking records have been a source of pride for all of us. ALUEXPO fair, which has become one of the most important meeting points of the global aluminum industry in a short time, made a new attack with this new momentum of the industry and carry the regional leadership to new dimensions.

During the opening ceremony of the fair, Republic of Turkey, Industry and Technology Minister Mr. Mustafa Varank presented his views over the aluminum industry and the fair and visited all the exhibitors.

On the 3rd day of ALUEXPO Republic of Turkey, Industry and Technology Vice Minister Mr. Hasan Büyükdede honored the exhibitors by visiting the fair.

Also on the 3rd day of Aluexpo one of the previous Vice Presidents of Turkey Mr. Ahmet Davutoğlu visited the fair and expressed his positive opinions about the fair.

Expanding its scope, the Fair broke new records

This year was the year of innovations and new records for ALUEXPO Fair. Started in 2009 in halls 9 and 10, at the same venue, ALUEXPO was crowned this year with new halls, a new layout, and a record stand area. The net stand area, which was 9,197 m2 in 2019, grew %27 to be 11,700 m2 including event areas. Through these stands, 203 local and 145 international companies from 29 different countries, a total of 348 exhibitors showcased their newest, state of the art products to the world of aluminum.

Visitors

in 2022, Aluexpo Fair was visited by 2,393 international and 10,008 local industry professionals. Despite the travel restrictions due to the pandemic in recent years, the increase in the number of international visitors reflected the interest in the fair.

Turkish Ministry of Trade Purchasing Committees, Hosted Buyer organizations organized by Ankiros Fairs, delegations composed of representatives of foreign aluminium-intensive industry sectors led by Trade Offices in Turkey, and the B2B operation to be organized by IMMIB was fruitful for international visitors.

Invitations of the OSB, sector representative unions and associations, Industry-specific invitations and briefings, Defense, Aviation, Automotive, Building, Construction, Infrastructure, Transportation, Rail Systems, Commercial vehicles, Marine vehicles manufacturers, Packaging, Kitchenware, Energy, Conductor, The expectations of suppliers from the Solar Energy and Furniture sectors met and Europe’s largest Extrusion production capacity was on stage.
